I've purchased a fancy air purifier and multiple dehumidifiers from ABC over the years and have always been happy with the service and my experience shopping with them. I recognize this is very different from all of the reviews here but thought it was important to stop by with my personal feedback.
I purchased a PowerPure 5000 by Aerus Warm & Cool Mist Ultrasonic Humidifier one year ago, worked great all winter, used it this winter for one month then it would turn on at all. Called customer service they said something must of happened in shipping a year ago. No Im sorry no nothing. 100 bucks down the drain.
These products make claims they do not deliver on for customers...

Allergy Buyers Club listed an item on their site as "in stock" and ready to ship. I chose them for that reason, because on the manufacturer AirPura's site the same item was listed as a 3-4 week delivery. After a weeks time and the order status still listed as " processing" I called ABC. Their rep told me "Oh, AirPura just told us they're 3-4 weeks out". After 3-4 weeks the item is still listed by ABC as "in stock". DO NOT BUY FROM ABC
Tip for consumers:
They listed the item in stock when it was not. They were just taking the order and shipping it from manufacturer who had a 3-4 week wait. Their website still lists item in stock to this day.

Accidently ordered filters for a machine I dont even own. There policy is not to accept returns on filters, eventhough they are still packaged. Poor policy. They did offer to sell me the machine at a fair discount, but found it much cheaper on Amazon. They need to change their policy to "cannot accept filters that have been opened", and also "we will price match, beat other competitors"
It has now been almost 4 weeks that I have been waiting to receive a filter for my new air purifier. Yes, this company sent me an air purifier with no filter in it! Totally usable! Been told numerous times that the filter is on its way. Was not told at the time of purchase that the unit would be delivered unusable/without a filter! Will be sending the a. P. back for full refund if filters are not received within a day or so. Very bad business practices.
I called up to order a particular machine and they convinced me to buy a different one
I expressed t was for allergies and asthma and they ended up sending me a machine for VOCs
My symptoms got worse and I made several calls to them and they told me to keep running it at different speeds
I wanted to return it and because they never alerted me to the fact that I needed to return it in a certain period of time and they convinced me to keep it longer they said the time expired
My allergy symptoms were getting worse by the day allergy buyers club refused to take the machine back
I called the company Air Pura and they informed me that it was for VOCs and allergy buyers club tried to convince me that the owners of the company who make the machine were lying to me!
This is one of the worst companies I've ever had to deal with They are rude and disrespectful they have no proper education on what they are selling And they are dishonest with their customers.
Air Pura Requested all of the correspondence because they considered taking it back and allergy buyers club did not send it to them and lied to me about getting that request as well.
The pictures didn't show how small it is; I would have to change the bag twice with our dog's hair. I tried to return it but would have to pay $40 to get $132. Back. It wasn't worth. I donated it and will take a tax deduction. I wouldn't buy anything from them because you can't see what you're getting.
I ordered this pure and dry dehumidifier online on a Sunday. Thought I had done everything all right but received an email telling me that my order was incomplete? So went back and tried ordering it again and got another email telling me that my order was incomplete? Checked my credit card and yes I just ordered 2 units. Called the 1 888 number and was told that I had to wait for Monday to solve the problem. Needless to say that it took 10 days to get my money back on my credit card. Moral of the story do not order on Sunday or Saturday as you will get some automated message that is incorrect.

11/24/2018 I placed order over the phone w/Kyle the manager. Provided credit card and set up a shipping date 16 days out.
When it didn't arrive around the time frame discussed, I did an online chat w/the customer service and they could not help. I emailed Kyle 2-3 times over a 3 week period and no reply. I called customer service and left the sales rep 1-2 voice mail message and no return call.
I called 1/4/2019 and the customer service rep was rude, unhelpful and told me they don't have the unit anymore and would not offer me a discount on a comparable unit to fit the same price I previously agreed and provided the credit card to pay for. The sales girl said the mgr was busy in a meeting as this was the start of their busy season and they had to learn about the new units. How rude that he would not come to the phone or return my emails/calls.
Don't buy anything from Allergy Buyers Club.com They don't manage inventory, they do provide the worst customer experience you'll every have! I'm buying from "Moisture Medic" now.
I placed the order for Alen Fit50 filter and 2 QuietPure filters on 11/16. I received half of the order on 11/26, but the Alen filter never arrived, according to the email update, they were supposed to arrived at CA at the same time. So I called Allergybuyersclub today to find out more.
Your sales Rep. Dale not only unhelpful, but was a great sales to suggest customers to take the business somewhere else. He cut me off while I was explaining to him what happened, when he entered the UPS tracking number in his computer, I knew he noticed something was wrong from his pause, so I entered the tracking at the same time and noticed the package went from Texas to IL, the ETA turns 12/4. Instead to tell me or explained to me, he told me he had no control over the order because it was shipped from the vendor. When I questioned him about the ETA ship date from the ABC website (mine is 20 days now), he told me that was the reason they don't show ETA. (Even it stated ship same or next business day) so I asked him if ABC all hands off once the customer placed the order, his answer was Yes. When I questions him why the package went to IL, he questioned me how I knew that, I told him I'm seeing it on UPS; then he said oh we don't control the routing. I tried to tell him when I ordered the filters from PX exchange, they were also shipped from Alen but it took less than a week, is there anything wrong with this order? He disputed it right away, so I said then there is no different for me to order from other places. He answered No. I have been working in Customer Service sector for 20 years, it's very important that a sale representative understands he is the company when he is talking to customer; therefore, show some empathy and take ownership. There are different ways to explain a CS issue.
I have ordered 3 Air Purifier from ABC, because of the California Fire, we decided to order the extra filters, now I don't feel bad to order filters from Amazon anymore. And I understand why AllergyBuyersclub has 1.9 out 10 rating in resellerratings.com
Please, do not purchase from this company. I wish I would have seen this page before I bought a 500 dollar Aerus Pure&Dry air purifier and degumidifier combination. First of all, the instruction manual is literally written in badly translated English, and hard to understand some parts. It also has incorrectly labeled instructions for what the buttons do, and contradicts itself a lot. The product worked ok for like 60 days, then it literally started icing over and freezing, for no apparent reason. When trying to contact their virtually non-existent customer service, they gave me the run around after asking several incredibly vague questions about it. The unit is still under warranty (has 1 year warranty) but they force the customer to pay over 100 dollars to send it back when they sent a defective product... Most reputable companies will send prepaid shipping labels, remember that. Anyway, after I became annoyed they wanted me to pay for the 100 dollars for shipping on this 500 dollar machine, I politely asked them to reconsider just sending me a prepaid label and explained that the product was clearly defective and still under warranty. She refused and said 'we're pretty strict on making customers pay their shipping.'
Wait, so you're strict on making customers pay to return a defective product? WHAT?
Anyway, when that became clear, I said I would pay the shipping and just wanted a refund on the machine, to which she agreed and gave me an RMA number. Literally a few seconds later, she said they couldn't refund my money at all. I am very disappointed with this pathetic company and have contacted my bank to try to reverse the charges on this piece of junk. Stay away from them, and as others have said, try to buy locally. On a side note, Amazon.com has most of this stuff and Amazon has an amazing return policy with no hassles, especially if the product is defective or breaks during the warranty period.
Heed my advice and do not buy from AllergyBuyersClub.com and save yourself the money, time and the headache.
Should have come here first - Clearly awful people. Their dehumidifier ruined by basement after just a couple of months - total junk. They ignored my calls and emails for warranty return/refund.
Tip for consumers:
Don't do it, just don't

Dehumidifier - it was terrible
If anything should go wrong with your order, if you require any assistance, if you want to return an item, be prepared to be ignored and have to take the situation up with your own credit card company.
I went with this site because the product I wanted was $100 cheaper than the competitor. But if I knew what I knew now, I would gladly pay the extra to avoid all this hassle. Save yourself the trouble (and money) and just order directly from the manufacturer, this distribution site is a mess.
I placed an order, which I cancelled (via online chat, email and phone call) days after. In spite of my cancellation, the order was shipped and left at my home.
I have requested a return shipping label and refund via online chat, email and phone call, each time I have been told that I will receive an email with instructions about how to complete the return, but the email (or any form of communication) never came.
My experience with Allergy Buyers Club has been more painful than watching someone put my hard earned dollar bills through a paper shredder.
Tip for consumers:
Don't use it, order directly from the manufacturer.

May 8th. Of 2019 I purchased a Pure and Dry Platinum Series 70 pint dehumidifier for use in our cellar. It worked for that summer season. My husband cleaned the filter and emptied the bucket and put it aside for the Winter. Just put it on last week, end of May, 2020. Well it does not dehumidify! Interestingly enough, the booklet/manual for this does not even have a manufacturer address or telephone number. I find this most unusual! I will never order anything like this on line again. I am purchasing another one from our local merchant. Should have done this before!
This company has the worst return policy. They made it seem like I could return my air purifier within a 30 day period and when I went to exchange it for a similar product they said that it had to be of equal or great value than the one I was returning. Very misleading and they obviously don't care about repeat customers. Of course
I will not be one.
At first I was worried to buy from them because of the poor and low online reviews, but I ordered my air filter replacement kit because it was hard to find from anywhere else. I forgot to add the discount code and the customer service person was nice enough to add and adjust my credit card charge. Received my product promptly. No complaints. I would purchase from them again. I'm sorry there were so many negative reviews, but I hardly write reviews and I only did so, because I wanted to share my good experience.
Amy,
Thank you for taking the time to write a positive review. We appreciate you.
Not to mention miserable customer service. I just bought an expensive dehumidifier and found out it takes forever to begin working and works very slowly for a high power dehumidifier. I called to request a return - they make you do a song and a dance stretching over a few days with what they call trouble shooting. Unless you're willing, you don't get return authorization. Then they just hang up on you when you're frustrated and exhausted. I invested on thsi dehumidifer after a mold remediation in a unoccupied second home. I needed a reliable, consistent, easy to work with dehumidifier. They seem to have all kinds of reasons why it's not working properly, that it takes time for it to work, then you have to begin slowly by 5% increment for it to work. Whomever bought a dehumidifer that's a rocket scientist to operate. It takes 7 hours before it begins to show a drop of water on the hose. So it takes 7-8 hours before it begins to work. Then for a high-powered dehumidifer, it's constantly running which means it's very slow working. I had a smaller inexpensive unit working so much faster and drawing out buckets of moisture within several hours. WARNING: DO NOT purchase from this website. I so regret this purchase.
Hello Ms. Lori,
Our team has attempted to help you with each call. Your unit is set to 50 and your relative humidity is at 55. It is likely there is no moisture in the air to pull. Our troubleshooting takes approximately 10-15 minutes and is not elaborate. It consists of a few questions and a reboot of the unit with a slight settings change. This is a simple unit to operate and we have requested you please take a few minutes to let us perform troubleshooting so we can may honor the warranty. You chose to use the remorse return option you read on our website and this was granted. The policy as published requires the customer to pay return shipping or agree to it being deducted from the refund if we send a prepaid label. We have taken all your calls over the past two days and have tried our best to help you. We have presented you with three simple options, but none of those work for you. We once again ask that you allow us to perform troubleshooting to insure you have a unit free of manufacturer defects.
Best Regards,
Allergy Buyers Club
UPDATE: Per our remorse return policy and a discussion with the customer, we sent a return label and deducted the cost from the refund as the unit was found to be in working order. The relative humidity and the set humidity levels were within 2% of each other, therefore there was very little moisture to be removed from the air.
I got a few tips from people over at this website, ordered some meds. They arrived, a week later.
I placed order on 12/19/18.
When it didn't arrive around the time frame discussed, I did an online chat w/the customer service and they could not help. I called customer service and left the sales rep 1-2 voice mail message and no return call.
I called the customer service rep, she told me they haven't shipped it yet and the reason is unknown. She promised to find out more info and get back to me. 3 days later, nothing. Talk to another guy today, he said he will email my concerns to the person I spoke to cause he can not do anything.
Don't buy anything from Allergy Buyers Club.com They don't manage inventory, they do provide the worst customer experience you'll every have!
I purchased an IQAir on 9/11/2020, and my purchase went through and acknowledged by Allergy Buyers Club (ABC). Today, 10/13/2020, I finally got a hold of a customer rep person who informed me the IQAir is on back order from the manufacturer but they have already billed me as of 9/11/2020 HMMM...! The customer rep said they've been fielding a lot of complaints about this, website not being accurate. I paid them $1400 for nothing and apparently will take another week for them to verify with the manufacturer that they didn't send it to me. Basically ABC is a vendor and they do not stock any items, comes directly from the manufacturer. Buyer beware!
Hi there, We apologize for the situation with your order. IQAir unexpectedly went on backorder status due to the pandemic and wildfires. As soon as we were notified, we reached out to our customers with the option to wait or to cancel the order and receive a refund. We stock certain items, as others, such as IQAir, we ship from the manufacturer. This benefits both east and west coast customers as IQAir has two distribution warehouses - one on each coast. This decreases shipping time for customers on the west coast by several days.
This company may seem great if you don't have a problem with the product, but their customer service when you do have a problem is TERRIBLE! I bought a Quiet Pure Whisper HEPA Tower air purifier from them that was rated in their ad as "up to 50 decibels." I thought: Great! It's small and nice and quiet for the bedroom. When the item arrived it was much louder than the unit I have in the living room, which is 50 decibels. I called ABC and they said: Oh, no. That one is rated 58 decibels. I said that's not what you ad said, and I bought it because it was supposed to be so quiet. Plus when I turned it on in a room were I had the another air purifier running on low, it did nothing to aid that unit in keeping the air clean. I told them I was sending it back and, since I bought it because it was supposed to be so quiet, I expected a full refund including shipping back since their ad was not accurate (I included a copy of the false ad). They charged me for return shipping it back! So they advertise falsely and aren't honest enough to cover their mistakes. This is not a company with integrity. Don't buy there!

I bought a dehumidifier from allergybuyersclub... waited impatiently for reunds.on charge card,, I got pretty upset... until, finally it arrived after 7 days! They said it could take 3 to 7 days but I really couldn't understand why it would take that long. HOORAY... IT ARRIVED AND ALL IS GOOD! The customer service rep, Barbara, was really nice.
"BUYER BEWARE"
Spent $200.00 on this site. Just received my order and it was the wrong size. They would not accept returns. Very disappointed! Will not buy from this company again.
BEWARE!
The pump on one of their dehumidifiers didn't work. We ordered the product early, so we'd have it when we moved into our new home, but once we used it, the pump didn't work. I called many times and worked with them to try many troubleshooting steps, but it did not work. The product still worked in bucket mode, so we kept running it like that to avoid high humidity that might leave to mold. They don't want to refund the purchase now, 4 months later.
Alan,

Hello Julianne, we had a shipping error on these units where the filter and unit ship separately. The units were shipped without the filter as the filter went out of stock quickly due to the wildfires. Customers were contacted and sent a courtesy filter while waiting on the ordered filter to ship.
