We ordered a replacement filter for our air purifier and the company accidentally sent us two. When we informed them of the mistake, instead of thanking us for being honest, they sent us an email saying that we would have to repackage the filter and take it to a Fed ex store. They then threatened that if they didnt receive it back within thirty days, they would charge my credit card. Speaking of ungratefu! Maybe I'm mistaken, but I believe that would be unlawful use of my credit card. I didn't expect anything for free. If I did I wouldnt have contacted them in the first place. I just didn't expect to be treated like a criminal for doing the right thing. Maybe that is their new tactic to sell more filters. Terrible customer service. Buy a different product from a better company.
Three weeks ago, I placed an order for air filters for my device via BluAir's website. One week later, no air filter was received and on their website, the order was marked 'closed.' I called their customer service line and was told my order would be reinstated. I requested an email confirmation. No order was received, no email confirmation was received. Today, I called their customer service line again and asked that the order be completely removed. I also removed my payment information from the website. Instead of a cancellation, they reinstated my order and somehow charged my credit card (to something called 'Adyen Integration', which is just bizarre. I called again to cancel, and was told it could not be cancelled immediately. I had no recourse but to call my credit card company and place a dispute on the charge. I also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I regret ever purchasing one of their products.
Tip for consumers:
I urge anyone owing a BluAir filter system NOT to order any products through the BluAir website.

I ended up ordering the air filter through Best Buy.
I have had allergies for many years and have tried all types of air purifiers including the ionizers that make ozone. I found blueair filter system to be the best out there. I got my first blueair at costco and discovered they had even better models on their website. My advice is to get the ones that do at least 600 sq feet. The ones that do only 300 sq feet are just not good enough. Yes the filters are expensive which is why it is better to get a filtration system that is larger.
I have a small yoga studio with pretty terrible ventilation. I purchased the classic model which I believe was around $600 and it has been worth every penny. It's really important to have good, clean air to breathe when exercising and especially while practicing yoga which involves a lot of breath work. Also, I hadn't expected it to improve the smell, which wasn't even necessarily bad, but the studio smell so much better. Highly recommend!
