- Ordered 1 item: delivery was to be for 14 feb. Did not arrive, and no notice of any kind. - 15 Feb: receive a notice it will be received on 16 Feb. Didn't need it by then so i asked to cancel. "Can't cancel an order under 3 days of shipping date"- so my money kept by GB and the vendor and I just need to accept this. -16 Feb: will not arrive until 7PM. I'm not in the delivery area anymore, and it won't be delivered until 7PM, so no one will be able to receive it. They offered a lot of apologies, and some misdirection (reminding me how to prepare the food I don't have when I get it/if I get it) but at then end of it, my money is gone, and they don't own the problem= FAIL. The hardest part is when customer service drowns you in apologies, and "so sorry for YOUR experience, here's a discount to suffer our uselessness again for a little less money than what you spent before". At the end they're trying to sell you on a spoonful of excuses you know they themselves couldn't swallow if they had to endure the same incompetence they spill on you. It's a sales portal, and like many other sales, they're not skilled in customer service or ownership. Some of these well named chefs should be careful of brand association

I did not like either of the desserts ordered. The Killer Brownies were awful. My group had 1 bite and threw them out. They just didn't taste like brownies at all. They had a very strange taste and texture. The Gotta Have S'mores were almost there, but were very dry and felt a little overdone. By the 2nd day, they were way too hard to eat.
After placing an order for a Birthday gift and selecting the day of delivery I did not receive the package. It was delayed over 5 days after leaving the manufacturer and perishable and Goldbelly says it's out of their hands once its shipped, then who is responsible? I'm out significant amount of $$ and received a spoiled gift. ORDER AT YOUR OWN RISK since Goldbelly does no standby anything

I ordered a cake for a friend's birthday. The cake arrived 5 days later than the estimated delivery and was completely smashed. I contacted the company and they would not issue a refund.

The cheese container for my cheese steaks broke open in delivery. They will refund the cheese but as for the ruined CHEESE steak sandwich I'm out of luck. I would have never paid 78$ for steak and bread sandwiches. Profits over service, keep away from them

I was so excited to treat my family with a deli dinner from Wexler Deli in LA to include corned beef, pastrami, turkey, Cole slaw, Russian dressing. Arrived in large box with food in an aluminum thermal bag that had not been sealed. The food had fallen out of the bag and was loose in box. Two very small cold packs were warm. Would you eat warm meat and Cole slaw? We wouldn't to we dumped it.
We get a weekly meal delivery of fresh food that takes three days of shipping. Always arrives properly sealed with large cold packs and very cold. So it can be done. Just not by Gold Belly and Wexler Deli
Delivery arrived at dinner time which was perfect. The meal was delicious and very easy to prepare.
I've been ordering from Hancock Gourmet Lobster for years. I never had trouble until Goldbelly took over. So, what went well was that my son finally got the lobster.
Everything I've ordered from Goldbelly has been as expected, and arrived on time. That gumbo from Commanders Palace tho. My happy place. Some stuff seems to be "sold out" and months later still hasn't come back like "prince st pizza", I wish they timed out the seller quicker so they restock or lose the listing. Shouldn't be sold out for half a year, that just means you stopped. But all in all, glad Goldbellys service is an option.

Very dissatisfied and disappointed! I ordered the 3 pack pizza thinking I was getting it from Gino's East pizza. But that wasn't the case The pizzas are very small and it's also available in Aldi's grocery stores for $5.85. Total rip off for the Gino's East pizza. The marketing is misleading the item clearly did not come from Gino's East pizza.
Second order was well packed and came as described. (Haven't tried it yet.) When I finally heard back from customer service about first order, they offered to refund or replace that item, which was nice. I asked for a replacement, but fear I will be waiting for another extended period before I get a response.
Ordered $114.00 worth of bagels, cream cheese and lox from Ess-a- bagel of NY through Goldbely.com. Package was delivered but the cream cheese container was opened and it looked like someone had helped themselves. The recipient of my order was grossed out and did not eat the rest. I contacted Goldbelly and they told me that they researched it with Ess-a-bagel. They said that the machine that puts the cream cheese in the container makes the cream cheese just look that way.? Lol. Even if this was the case - why do they think that's acceptable?
I asked for a refund and/or possibly another order from another bagel place. The eaten cream cheese put a appetite damper on the rest of the order. (yuck)
They said they would credit me for the cream cheese. I did not accept. I will not waste hours trying to bully them into making the right decision. I essentially just threw $114.00 out the window and was embarrassed in front of my friend (the recipient).
Sadly, I am not surprised at Goldbelly /Ess-a-bagel decision. Like many companies, they've decided that its more important to keep money in the short term rather than create long term relationships with their customers. Because of their decision I will not be ordering from them again, nor will I recommend them to anyone in the future.
The decision they made reflects the same attitude that brings down service- oriented businesses everyday.
At this rate, it will only a matter of time before they go under.

Ess-A-Bagel has large batches of cream cheese that they place in these containers for shipment. I can assure you that the cream cheese has not been eaten out of. The tool that they use to put the cream cheese into these containers is a large knifelike tool, which would make this type of groove in the container. My sincerest apologies for the confusion here! We very carefully consider the appropriate resolution for each customer as a team, and hope you'll give us a try again.
Everything went as planned. I worried about sending a chocolate fudge cake to Arizona in 110 degree weather but it arrived intact!(In fact it was still frozen)
An error on their website caused a duplicate order, they were notified immediately, but refused to credit the money back. They sent generic replies then refused to credit me for their error. I called them 4 times, emailed them for a week until they finally refunded me. Also, received a stale, tasteless, skimpy, and poorly filled cake that had been frozen for a very long time. Cakes Do lose flavor if frozen for many months or it was tasteless before being frozen. It didnt look anything like the picture they showed, that is called false advertising and is against the law. It didn't have ANY flavor and I threw it in the garbage. I have filed a claim against them as they refuse to credit me for the defective cake. I would never order from them again.

Ordered cheesesteaks and, when the food arrived, the ice was melted and the food was spoiled, soggy, and warm. You basically pay ridiculous prices for food only for it to arrive spoiled and no opportunity to secure a refund.
So many obviously fake reviews to inflate their rating (and I can prove it).

Delivery was delayed so I wonder when the sloppy joe sandwich was made and how long in transit?
Chocolate Mousse cake was damaged. Cake top was smooshed onto plastic wrap leaving a hole in top. Also cake was not cold but warm. For amount of money spent for cake & shipping, greater care should have been taken for product to arrive in pristine condition. Expressed my concern with Goldbelly & awaiting their reply. Won't order again!

From start to finish- everything was great! The carrot cake arrived on time, in perfect condition, and I'm told it was delicious!
My BBQ from Mighty Quinn's was shipped on Thursday with a Friday ETA. No delivery on Friday and no updates from Goldbelly. UPS tracker moved the ETA Monday before 9 p.m. Package has been sitting in Louisville for 3 days, Minimum of four days in transit for BBQ, for highly inflated prices. Not allowed to cancel orders... read the fine print. But don't worry. No delay in them charging your card. Never again. NO THANKS. Premise sounded good but a fail.

The pieces of the little pies were delicious. The packaging for the pies was terrible. I thought they would be separated by partitions and protected. Instead they were loosely arranged in the box wrapped in paper. Only 2 of the 24 pies were intact. The other 22 were crushed and crumbled into multiple pie fragments.
The fragments tasted delicious. But, for the price of the order, I expected undamaged pies. Very disappointing.

Order came on time and was packed well. I wasn't worried about spoilage and it was as described. The lobster itself was amazing... was pleasantly surprised at receiving full lobster tail and claw meat. Really delicious. If I'm ever in Maine I'll look you all up.
Cake was delivered on schedule. Thawed it in the refrigerator-was moist and super sweet! Birthday girl loved it!
Cake was good, but took too long to deliver. 4 days from Pa to OH? Ice all melted and anxiety all around for sender and recipient as to whether or not product spoiled en route. Unlikely to order again due to these issues.
