I placed two orders with this company. I had to return a couple of items from both orders. I never received a refund! $70 worth of clothes they got back but did t refund me for! I emailed several times. I tried to call several times. I submitted a BBB complaint which they never responded to! Radio silent! Aweful, Aweful company!

So I ordered two items only difference between them was the color. Orders on April 26th and received one of the items on April 30th. Not bad. But the app is saying both items were delivered, which they weren't. Packing slip only has one item. The worst part was I waited 1 hour and 42 minutes on hold for them to tell me that the second should come in a few days. If you don't receive it call us back. I have been ordering from HauteLook since 2013. This will also be my last time.
Disturbing customer service! Love their products, but been discouraged more and more after each of their client mistreats! Need to email them twice to get refund for returns; items which were already paid for were out of stock; items were missing... 0/10
I purchased 8 pairs of shoes and 5 clothing items 4 weeks ago. 3 pairs of my shoes are "in transit," but there are untraceable, meaning Hautelook made a shipping label but never handed over to UPS. I've called the customer service number 3 times and have waited over 20 minutes only for my call to be hung up. I've tried several times to use customer service live chat, but that isn't working either. With their return policy being 45 days this is becoming a nightmare.
Ordered 2 items... only received one but paid for 2. Sent 4 emails no response. Tried calling but mailbox full.

This company pushes you toward ordering a size thats supposed to be correct but isnt. I ordered and received a pair of booties that were at least 1 to 1.5 sizes too small. I returned them and per their own policy if not refunded within 10 days, no matter what, I would get a FULL REFUND. You normally do not get a full refund. I paid for return postage per their instruction and they still charged me for return postage, I started this endeavor in Jan and today, April 8, I just now got a refund and NOT the full refund per policy. Their email is a non-working email. They are unaccessible. Do not order thru paypal either because they won't help. I am attaching a photo of my cost, not to mention the return postage and my final refund. I am out at least $20 and its their fault for poor sizing recommendation.
Watch your wallet! Refunds and returns are often a problem, and if you don't fight for it or miss it, kiss it goodbye. I thought anything Nordstrom was supposed to have great customer service. Not even close!
I recently bought shoes from Nordstrom Haute and iam very disappointed. I wore the shoes 3x and the straps broke on one of the shoes. The sandals are cute and I got them because my sister had a pair but she ordered hers from DSW. I wish I would have. The shoes definitely weren't worth $ 50 more like 14.99.
I have been a Hautelook customer for probably about 10 years and always felt as though I was getting good deals, but lately I have ordered something and then I googled the item and have found that I may be saving 1 to 5 dollars. The retail prices are being hiked up. That does not make me really happy so I guess moving forward if I order I'm going to Google the item 1st and see if I can order it directly from the manufacturers website. If that is the case then I don't really need to go through them.
I added a picture of a Tissot watch I just ordered. Found the same watch on the Tissot website for $197.50 and I bought it on HauteLook for $196.97. Not a great deal
I actually love Hautelook. I mainly buy kids clothes from here, and I think it is awesome that they have a return policy, which is so important with children. You really never know how things are going to fit, especially if you're trying new brands -- as Hautelook often showcases brands you may not know about. Their shipping takes longer than other flash sales sites, but I really don't mind. And I've never waited more than 3 weeks for anything. I have never had a bad experience buying or returning merchandise.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! READ THE REVIEWS, THEY ARE CORRECT! I am having a hard te with a return. I ordered from 1 company, another made the product and it came from a 3rd company? Confused? Try to get a refund, IF IN THEIR EYES ITS IN PERFECT CONDITION!

I received an alert from Experien that Hautelook had accessed my email and were trying to get my password. Be warned.
Bought a pair of slippers. Was charged $7.95 for shipping. Slippers arrived and were too small. HauteLook charges a fee to return the slippers and another $7.95 for shipping for the new size. The total shipping charges would have been in excess of $22. I chatted with customer service to explain I was trying to exchange the slippers for a bigger size and they were unhelpful. Simply told me to avoid a return shipping charge to bring the slippers to Nordstrom Rack, in the middle of a pandemic on Black Friday. They also indicated I would still have to pay $7.95 for shipping for the new size, so still a total of $15 for shipping a pair of slippers. Terrible policy and terrible customer service. I will be returning the slippers and not purchasing anything further from this online store.
Ordered two nice shirts March 31, April 12 I get two emails, one shirt was shipped, the other is cancelled because they ran out I guess? After two weeks of waiting that's just b. S. right... well they refunded the cost of the shirt. Tax. And shipping to my gift card I used but stupid me I had thrown it away already so 30 dollar lesson for me! If you just have to buy from these shady people, at least keep all your info with you, because you most likely will need it, after 2 weeks of course.
Ive personally had several issues with this company and online ordering. Them shipping wrong items constantly... the app is inconsistent and difficult to use. Cant shop the web page unless you have the app.
Ive even heard they have been closing a lot of peoples accounts too... which is really bad for customer loyalty and disappointing to hear. I have decided not to order from them again. Too many other good option online now days. Other companies do it way better.
Sometimes you can find good deals, but 75% (3 out of 4) of my orders have either arrived with missing items or one a pair of sandals that broke after being worn 5 times. I will say that their customer service has been very good every time. This most recent order was just the last straw because I can't be running to Nordstrom Rack (which is not even in my city) to return stuff all the time.
Ordered on the 30th. Waited for a shipping receipt that never came... Finally called on the 3rd. They acted confused and said I would get the shipping info the next day. Three days later I got the shipping info but they didn't even give the order to fedex until over a week after that. Long story short... ordered on 11/30 and didn't get my package until 12/12 because it sat in Hautelook's warehouse almost the entire time!

This is happening more and more with FACEBOOK SPAMS! Everyone needs to write FB and tell them to stop with their spamming because it is compromising my e-mail address and my credit cards. I have had numerous AMAZON CHARGES ON MY CREDIT CARD SINCE THIS SHOWED UP ON MY CREDIT REPORT!
I have no idea who this company even is! Never placed an order with them!
Hautelook has some really high quality merchandise at low prices. I have ordered a couple of times and not received the items because they don't get the full order -- however, on those rare occasions, they have given me a credit to use towards future orders. It hasn't happened often, so overall I am very pleased with getting some of the same items that I have seen on Nordstrom a few months later at a substantial discount.
Got an email saying i return too many items. Sure, but I keep a lot of them also and I return most of them to Nordstrom Rack. I have been a customer for 10 years and have spent a bunch of money on items I actually kept. I can't believe this company. They are going to lose so many customers... it's impossible to shop online on their flash sales and not return items.
I have been shopping Hautelook and Nordstrom Rack (. Coms) for a few months now, and so far not any problems.
I like to browse Hautelook almost everyday to see what`s newly listed, and what I may have missed.
I am beauty and style (classic) conscious, as well as a Bargain Shopper - not exactly a label hound, but if I can get a name brand, and good if not great quality at a great price, of course I am on board.
I will set a price first what I am willing to spend on certain, and not buy if anything over that - and I still find plenty on these 2 sites - handbags, cosmetics, shoes, home décor.
I have been hitting these sites first while browsing/shopping before any other sites, and use the sites to compare prices / savings on items.
I do notice that some items are either taken from Nordstrom Rack and listed on Hautelook, and sometimes on Nordstrom Rack and Hautelook at the same time -usually at the same price, or if it`s on Hautelook only, the prices may be lower.
The items and products the have come have been as described, new, no defects.
There is a "waiting" period for items and products to ship on Hautelook -
The reason is the supplier first ships to Hautelook, and then Hautelook ships to customer.
I am guessing the supplier is most times Nordstorm / Nordstrom Rack.
The shipping time does not bother me too much, if I want something sooner, I`ll order elsewhere. Shipping can be even sooner than estimated.
What I do not care for is trying to keep my orders and shipping straight -
I have apps through USPS, UPS, and FedX, but what happens is that Hautelook ships as soon as they receive your items. HL sends to customer one item at a time in most of my cases.
So, I have received a whole box with one item, even one containing one lipstick, or a pair of shoes, etc...
Seems if it`s a small item, like a lipstick, it could be sent in a packing envelope, a small package.
It`s sent mainly USPS, and I`d rather have packing envelopes in my mail box, than individual items sent quite a few times over weeks in boxes placed inside of my porch. My husband thinks I am on a binge with boxes on porch so frequently lol.
I took away a star for the many boxes with tiny items - not the shipping times.
All in all, I have found great deals, and have recommended to label hounds, and to cosmetic fiends who love their name brand make-up.
I, so far, have not had any mistakes, or non delivery as some reviewers had.
In an attempt to save on shipping fees, I thought I could order all of my items from Haute Look and do a price match with Macy's. I followed instructions given by the second rep I talked to (as the first idiot said they don't price match at all) and proceeded to place my order. I called back the next morning and was told to email the screenshot. I proceeded to do that and was given every excuse they could make up on the spot as to why I couldn't be credited the difference. My size wasn't in stock AT THE MOMENT, the sale was no longer on at Macy's, blah blah blah. If I had seen this site first, I would not have placed the order at all. Being a subsidiary of Nordstrom I expected the best! I got the worst.
Exactly what Amanda K. Said. I am a Nordstrom card holder and Hautelook cancelled my account with no notice (no letter or email) due to my purchase to return ratio. I had to call them to find out after I wasn't able to log into my account today. I shopped with them exclusively for almost 10 years and spent tens of thousands. Like any consumer shopping online, I would purchase multiple items and sizes and return what didn't work to my local Nordstrom Rack. Because the events only last for so many days, it's not like you can go back for an item if the size you purchased doesn't fit. So fine, change your return policy and let customers know they need to keep a certain percentage of their order so they can be more selective of their purchases. But to make this rule and then blacklist everyone who violated said rule before it was even effective?!? Absurd. Nordstrom has lost a loyal customer and credit card holder.
I love finding items from the brands I love at great prices, but I also find new designers on hautelook.com. I also appreciate the convenience of returning items at any Nordstrom Rack if I need to do so.
