Avoid this company as they. Don't answer the phone to cancel membership and you can't cancel it on the app or site. You can only replace your card number as you can't delete after you place it. I spoke with rep and rep told me in the first visit that I will not be enrolled or have to worry about cancelling then after the pop visit I receive email that I will be charged $16.99/mo after 30 days. 2 days in a row 45 minutes on the phone and no one picks up then answering machine says no is av
Don't use this company unless you have endless amounts of time to wait on hold to cancel your membership. I was so ill when I called, I didn't read the fine print that I was signing on for a monthly membership. No one answers the phone or the messaging center. I will NEVER participate on a website like this again if it is this difficult for them to honor their cancellation policy.
First appointment I was told if a topical steroid doesn't work I would be prescribed an antibiotic. It didn't work and on the second visit with a different doctor I was told she'll give me a prescription for something that will not work and that I need to go to urgent care for a simple case of atopic dermatitis. When I asked for a When I asked for a second opinion, I was told it would cost an additional 100$ dollars. Absolutely do not waste your money here, start with a walk in.

They prescribe medication that's not available and make you pay to get a revised prescription! The doctor tells you differently….if they are even truly a real doctor! Find a legit company, this one isn't anything more than a money grab!

None, got charged for items that weren’t available.
Beware of them signing you up for membership without you knowing it! Then charging your credit card $14.99 per month. Luckily I caught this after 3 months of them charging me. Contacted my bank and in process of getting refund and blocked them from charging me anymore! Plus their one time fee for consultation is almost 3 times what other medical sites charge. AVOID!
I think the title says it all! Doctors don't know what they are doing and make decisions after the call, with no other communication!
After the initial consultation which took only a few minutes, and blood work that was done the very next day, everything seem to be going quickly. However it's a month later and I still don't have my first prescription yet. They're not sending over the prioritization to the pharmacy. They sent it to another company that I don't do any business with and nobody's reached out to me and weeks to tell me what's going on. They do not return emails it's just a big frustrating rebound of the same thing over and over again. Now they're not answering their phone calls. They state that they take insurance and the company that I had was up there, but they charged my credit card for the consultation and never told me they don't take that kind of insurance even though the website States they do. I'm disgusted because now this is the second time around with a company like this and I'm just hemorrhaging money and these people don't seem to care.

I canceled my first PlushCare appointment after being called into work early. I was charged the $50 cancellation fee. Regardless of this I still received four additional phones calls during the day of my appointment from plush care. I was unable to answer any of these calls because I was busy at work. Plush care called my local police dept. I was horrified when the police department called me from my house to see if I was okay. I explained that I'm a nurse and got called into work early and had to cancel my initial appointment. I'm honestly scared of what this company might do next and I hate the fact that they have my information. So scary! I'm not sure what action ti take next.
If you don't like overpaying and getting surprise bills then DO NOT USE PLUSHCARE.
I used PlushCare because they put on the face of being a cheap and quick way to see a Dr. I needed to see one and the MinuteClinic near me had a three-hour wait. So I down loaded the app, filled out the info, added my insurance and got the screen saying my insurance was accepted and all I needed to do was pay a $20 co-pay. Awesome!
The actual visit went well, got a prescription and I felt like I had a good experience... and then a couple of weeks later I get a bill for $159 from PlushCare.
Not once during the signup did this number come up as a possibility. Not once did they say I MIGHT have to pay this. Not once did they bring this up as a possible eventuality. Never did this number show up.
I looked at the bill and they had charged my insurance $200 for the visit. Insurance paid for some + the 20 co-pay brought it down to $159. And the real kicker of this, they state on their website that an uninsured visit is billed at $129. They're expecting me to pay $30 MORE for an uninsured visit than an insured visit. Meanwhile, The MinuteClinic down the street is just $45... this is straight-up deceitful.
If at any point in their signup, they had brought this up I would have deleted the app and gone to the MinuteClinic. But no, they hide that behind screens saying "hooray your insurance is accepted" and "all you owe today is $20"... emphasis on today.
After weeks of going back and forth with them and their billing the ONLY course of action they're willing to do, despite being horrendously deceitful, is to cancel my insurance billing and charge me at the uninsured rate.
This right here is the future of healthcare in America.
You pay more for having insurance because greedy companies like PlushCare charge insurance more. This is a microcosm of our broken system and PlushCare is a leech feeding off it and profiting from both ends. And when you complain you get heartless auto-replies or wait on the phone for 2 hours with no one ever picking up.
Nothing about the experience was transparent. None of it was clear. None of this was up front. None of this was at all delivered as a possibility. If it had been I wouldn't have used them at all. I would have just gone to the MinuteClinic, waited in line, and paid 2/3 less.
This is not a sustainable business model to churn through and abuse customers with heartless auto-replies. We won't come back and you lose us for life. If there is ever a PlushCare Class Action Lawsuit you can count me in.
Tip for consumers:
Don't use it.
Got a toothache on a Friday afternoon and couldn't be seen by my dentist until the following Tuesday. I could definitely tell my gums were infected so after finding PlushCare via Google search I got an appointment within a few hours and antibiotics called in to my pharmacy really fast. It was such a quick process and made those 3 days much more bearable.
