I shopped for a Jacket on Dec 26th to ship to Mexico and got it by Jan 4th with no incidents, everything was perfect, and I loved the product and the service overall. I didn't need to contact them, make any returns, etc. so I can't review based on those needs.

Stay the hell away from anything dealing with Shopbop
Basically, I was told by the shop, Bob representative that once I buy an item it is my responsibility to go on the Internet and research the care of the product… Even though the product did not come with any type of unusual directions in the box.
Hello, I bought the Layla black and white shoe pictured below. I bought it from Amazon around January 15. I've worn them four times and I love them! I love them so much I bought a golden white pair from the Edelman website. Last week I decided to wash the black-and-white. Washed in a bucket with just some water and mild detergent. The dye from the black suede faded all over the white. I was shocked! I did a little bit more investigation, and I read reviews on several sites and many people who bought the black suede or the green suede has the same experience as me. I contacted Amazon… The date that I wash the shoes was about 15 days past the 30 day warranty. I was not aware of this and I actually thought since this seems to be a defect that some type of conversation would be done… Either refund or another pair… Maybe with leather trim instead of suede trim. But nope here I am out of more than $100… Only had the shoes for less than two months.
I am asking that the Sam Edelman company do something to help me. The people at Amazon said that I as a consumer once I buy something it is my responsibility to research the Sam Edelman website to find out the proper care. There was nothing in the box that said anything about Spraying the black suede with the protectant blah blah blah… I have lots of athletic shoes I've bought at Nordstrom's and Adidas and Nike… And I have never ever had this to happen before.
As a senior citizen on a fixed income… This is really disappointing to me.

I can’t believe that they expect anybody to go search out the manufacturer of the shoe… Look at their website and learn about the care of a pair of athletic shoes. Why were the instructions not in the box.

I've been ordering from this website for years and it's good. They have a large selection, and they occasionally offer great coupon codes. It's relatively easy to return an item if it doesn't fit although I did have an issue once.
I would say that I've had better service at revolve.com so if an item is available there, I will buy it there since shipping is also quicker. But shopbop is pretty good. I'll look to see if Revolve or Nordstrom is offering the same item. If not, I'll buy it from shopbop.
I have returned to shopbop a top by Nili Lotan plus mother green jeans they have received the goods but no refund! They have received the package according to Australia post tracking I. Early September 2023 but the are full of lies! Most dissatisfying experience with this company… please do your homework before you buys goods from them.

I just filmed a review of 7 bikinis from 7 different trendy online shops on my YouTube channel: Alana Arbucci. I had my mom and boyfriend rate all the bikinis and overall this one was everyone's favorite.
The fit is so flattering it makes your waist look tiny, hides the bottom of the belly and makes the hips look curvy. I had d size breasts and the small actually fit me on top which was amazing. The quality of the suit is so nice it felt way better than the other 6 bikinis. However, the one thing I would say is that it felt and looked really nice but not THAT much nicer where the price needed to be $200. I would happily buy more from this company if the suits were around $100 for the whole set.

Customers are not receiving rightful refunds and/or waiting lengthy and unacceptable periods of time for receipt of a lawful refund. Moreover, consumers purchasing ShopBop items via Amazon are also victim to violations pursuant to significantly delayed and/or non-receipt of refunds. Customers can initiate a dispute claims with their credit card company, submit a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission, and also notify the Madison, WI Attorney General's office of their consumer violation. Shame on ShopBop for their unprofessional, unacceptable, and unlawful business practices!
Not necessarily Shopbop's fault but got sent a shirt that reeked so strongly of perfume and or deodorant as if it had been worn for a day and then returned. Come on people, do better. I'm usually not bothered by smells but this smell turned my stomach so much I was practically hanging over the toilet bowl. If you buy something, DON'T wear it for every day life and then return it.
Hi - do not shop at shopbop. Simply use it to browse. Twice now they have sent me CHEAP 50 dollar jewelry when I've ordered close to 900 dollar pieces. They do this because they Count on people not going through the hassle of returning. Also it's owned by amazon - that explains why it's so $#*!ty. I've attached the crappy bracelet that was literally fifty dollars on their website versus what they advertised. I don't think fine jewelers work w them.

They use abusive fees and if you point it out with customer service they will answer only the same standard information. I am now 1 months trying to find a solution for an returned item and I still didn't get my 179 Dollars back. They are awful. They asked me to pay 40 Dollars to send it back and on top they just refund me 60 Dollars from the initial 179 Dollars. Why? They cannot say and they are not willing to communicate, each email is just a standard text with a link to their term and conditions which do not have an answer to the problem.

I ordered a pair of shoes that I need for a certain date so I paid for express shipping, it said they would arrive in 1-2 days but when I went to track my package it said "package is returning to seller because of customs issue" and they are now going to be coming a month later. The timing is extremely inconvenient and I don't understand why I didn't get an email or message about the delay. I also think its really stupid how you can't cancel your order and also how the customer service number doesn't work in Australia, when I tried to do a live chat it didn't work even though it was between the right times. I strongly advise to never buy from this website because it is completely unprofessional.

If you return your items, Shopbob will charge USD 60 to return via DHL and will not refund VAT fees. This is a trap!

I usually order from other USA merchants and have never had a problem returning in terms of getting my VAT back and also shipping fees are less costly. I am very dissatisfied.

The cost and hassle of returning items (if they are eligible) is annoying. I have had multiple items arrive that were not the correct material or dimensions described, and the pictures don't always accurately portray the item. I have found a couple of good finds though - but not enough to keep me coming back. Meh.
I'm in the southern hemisphere. I ordered on Friday and the parcel arrived on Sunday from overseas which surprised me. However the pair of pretty sandal I bought has already been worn out after just one summer, sad.
Extremely poor customer service. Terrible shipping courier. The tracking information hasn't been updated for 5 days. It's been 15 days but I have no idea where my package is.

13.10 ordered and 19.10 delivery in the EU, which I think is great. The goods are also great. I would very much like to order again, because at first I was a little afraid because of the bad reviews, but I see that their service is TOP.

If you are a buyer from the UK or overseas, you will NOT be getting a full refund. I had to return an item as it was too small. They will only refund for cost of the item and not include any VAT/Customs paid. Usually in the UK, businesses will refund in full, including the VAT. ShopBop do not, so not normal business practices.
My parcel also did not include any customs paperwork so you cannot check exactly how much fees you're actually paying for.
If you are not based in America, DO NOT use this company as you will definitely be losing a lot of money if you have to return anything.
I will not be using this company again.

International buyers should avoid this store. You will incur heavy losses as they don't refund the tax/customs you paid, so you won't be getting a full refund back.
For moral reasons I'm one of those people who boycotts Amaz*n and haven't bought anything from them in like a decade because of their awful labor practices. Despite this, even though I think Shopbop is technically owned by Amaz*n, I can't keep myself away. Their selection is always top quality stuff, and if you wait long enough and keep checking back you can get these gorgeous designer items for a fraction of their original price as they're always having really great sales.
First order I placed was damaged by courier, sent back to Shopbop through courier, and took weeks to receive credit. Second order: sent a top when I paid for a dress. Not satisfied with this service.
Really disappointed with a pair of P448s that I spent a lot of money on. Clearly faulty and Shopbop won't do a thing! Won't be purchasing from them ever again!

1st time order on 12 Jan 2021 and Shopbop cancelled my order without any notice. A week later, I contacted customer service and they said my Amex card didn't go through and locked my account. But at least should send me an email to let me know since my account was locked.
2nd time order, they send me an EMPTY BOX! Thought of any stealing happened in between. Used the scale to measure the weight of empty box + package which perfectly matched with DHL's indicated weight, it means Shopbop sent me empty box!
Contacted Shopbop customer service and required to send back the same item as it's a gift for my sister whose birthday just few days away. Soon they told me, yes they made the mistake and would be "Happy" to refund me. Because they charged me in USD currency, I even have to bear the difference of exchange rate charged by the credit card company.
It's the worst online shopping experience I've had. The customer service asked if I preferred to have refund and my answer was "I'd like to re-deliver the item". But they sent me a refund email right after and said "happy" to refund me. Then why bother to ask if I want to have refund?
I spent time to search for the gift and gave enough time for delivery but ended up with such horrible shopping experience with Shopbop. I would never ordered from Shopbop again. And if you are reading and consider buying gift from Shopbop, re-consider it!
