Where have these been all my life?! Bought my first pair, flare jeans. Well made, fit beautifully. My only complaint is that they are very long if you want to wear flat shoes (I ordered regular) but thats an easy fix. Absolutely love them!
I've purchased roughly 1800$ worth of their stuff. While some are great (air essential jump suits) others like their leggings and dresses are hideous. The size is way off for the dresses. I order an XL in everything. The dress (perfect sheath dress) fits me around the chest but that's it. It's got a giant kangaroo type pouch/ excess materiel area going on under my chest just above my belly and it's not from fitting at all. The leggings fit but material is extremely itchy. The air essential tapered pant is way too short. The minimizer bra don't really minimize anything. Overall just very disappointed. Other than the air essentials jumpsuits the other haul was over priced items I'd never buy. I could return but at $15 a pop I'll suffer through it and the dress they won't let me return because it was on sale. Now I know why.
I will never buy anything else from this company. Customer serous honesty the worst I have ever encountered. Jeans are way too small. All attempts at returning them have been a dead in, even the " chat" option gets you no where. I have never seen anything like it. Most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with!
I bought a pair of slacks for about $148 with the welcome coupon. Ordered directly from Spanx for the longer inseam. A week later the price was cut in half. It took a long time to receive my order, consequently, the price had already changed before its arrival.
Spanx doesn't do price adjustments.
So I returned them within the 60-day time frame. Now Spanx is not processing the return of this unworn item, in the original garment bag, with the tags attached.
USPS records demonstrate the item arrived at the return center. It was sent in the original Spanx bag and with the Spanx label.
In my experience Spanx is not responsive to emails. My efforts to reach someone on the phone have not yielded results. Tough to anticipate ever buying from them again. It's hard to understand why this company's customer service would be either this poorly executed or off the charts sleazy.
I purchased a pair of flare leg spanx jeans for $148, from Dillard's. The material is fantastic and the jeans fit great in the thigh area but they are way too long. I am average height, 5'6" and I couldn't see my feet. I was literally standing on the last 4 to 5 inches of the jeans. There needs to be an adjustment to the measurements.

I order over $300 worth of clothes and told exchanges were hassle free but after they refunded me they said all products are sold out, here's a 15% discount for your troubles. Then refused to help or answer any additional questions.
My fault, I didn't check before I bought it. Arrived and didn't fit, return cost me $15.00 and I folded this tank top the smallest that it would fold, which was pretty small and the thinnest paper envelope I could get and I lost $15 from $60.00 because the SPANX didn't fit. Not good, so if you don't mind losing $15.00 off of what you paid, then go for it but I won't make the same mistake twice.

It's a fact that one really unhappy customer tells at least 10 other people when a company doesn't do what they said they were going to do. But… when someone purchases an item and it turns out to be a quality control issue, and the individual has paid shipping both ways even though they were told the return shipping would be free, it's not a good look for the company. I was given a "special" link by a Spanx Team Member for the free return shipping and was still charged. I have contacted them 4 times to no avail. That is my only experience with the company and will be the last. I have worked roughly 8 years for Talbots and let me tell you, that type of customer service would simply get you fired.

Anything Oprah Winfry is associated with, I recoil from, at least you didn't have her body or face pictured wearing it, but just her quote" I love spanx" really. Sorry Spanx, you need to either get some other celebrity or just use stand alone advertising. If your product is really that great, ditch Windfry.

if you must use celebs to sell your product, look at the reputation first. Oprah bad mouths to grift from us and she really doesn't care nor give back.Her choice of "friends" is highly questionable and her interview of Prince Harry was phony.

The outfit I ordered at full price went on sale for a flash sale. I got my merchandise the day of the sale. I asked if I could get a credit for the merchandise at this flash sale price and the answer was no. So I can return the merchandise and order again and then I would get the sales price. How ridiculous is this!
Just bought my first pair of seamless crop leggings. They are very comfortable, but very hot and the top rolls down after a few minutes of exercise.

I am beyond frustrated with Spanx.com. First of all, I paid $128 for these jeans (skinny ankle) that are supposedly the best things on earth. Reviews said they fit true to size and are supposed to be super stretchy. So I order my normal size. They are NOT stretchy and they do NOT fit true to size. So I order decide to size up. Well still not stretchy but now the legs are too big. I will give them this, the exchange process was simple and free. But now I have to pay $7.95 to ship the ones that don't fit back to them. And unbeknownst to me, I have a new order number and when I return, expecting the money will be credited to the account I originally paid with, I am given a gift card for the remaining balance minus the $7.95 shipping, to a severely overpriced company that I will not buy anything from now, not just because I can't justify spending that amount of money on items that aren't what they describe and I can get similar items much cheaper, but out if principal. I am usually go with the flow, but I am pretty angry about this. Enough to take time out if my work day to write a review about it.

Ordered an expensive blazer in petite. Jacket came relatively quickly, but pattern makers totally forgot to make arms appropriate for a short woman. They hung to my knees and were both placketed and lined requiring an expensive alteration on an already expensive jacket. THEN, was told to take the return to a specific Walgreens, they refused it. Then took to a mailbox place where they took it, and it came right back to me by mail. Then went to FEDEX where they told me it had to go to UPS. Then UPS where a helpful lady got me the phone #. STILL not returned. I will NEVER order anything from them again.

Very dissatisfied with Spanx Twill pants. Paid $128 and there is discoloration after washing. I washed them as directed - the discoloration is not through out, it's spotty. Reached out to customer service and they only offered 10% off my next purchase. Very disappointed in the product! NEVER AGAIN! Pants are ruined - please keep in mind that I don't wear them often, so they have not been washed but 3 times since I've had *******@spanx

I've been ordering from their Assets line, which is less expensive than some of their other stuff. It is very good value. Custormer service is generally OK. One problem is that they won't take the VISA card I normally use- they insist that the address I give does not match with what's on the account. I checked with my bank and that's not true. I've never had a problem with this card at any other website. So I have to use a different card to shop at Spanx.
I purchased the high Power Short two weeks ago. What a waste of money! Those Spanx rolled down my waist each time I wear them. $38.00 gone down the drain. How can I return this junk? Ladies, stop supporting businesses that waste our time and resources!

Spanx website and customer service are awful. What I ordered was completely opposite from what I received. When I asked customer service their initial response was a gift card for an item I just purchased and not even a refund, which is stupid in itself.
It was also a Christmas gift and they refused to overnight a different pair so I can have something under the tree. First time shopping here and won't purchase again.

I ordered a product online from Spanx and selected regular shipping (5-9 business days). My email confirmation, however, stated that the estimated delivery date was in fact 8-14 business days away, too late for my needs. And when I tried to call to cancel the order (five minutes after I placed it), I was informed that Spanx simply will not change or cancel orders once they are placed. I will never place an online order with this vendor again.
After reading all of the negative reviews along with the replies from Spanx saying that products could be easily returned within 90 days, I ordered two sizes with every intention of keeping the ones that fit best. What they DIDN'T say in those replies… that they charge $7.95 to make a return.
I ordered a pair of women's flair jeans, size xl. Regular length. They were four inches too long and I am 5'8". I called and the person said I had to order a Petite. Seriously? I have never, ever been in a petite anything. They said I had to read the small print about their sizing, which says they expect the customer to be wearing 4" heels! I now have to swallow the entire cost of the product. Never will I look at this product again. I will also tell others of my experience.
I purchased the moto leggings and in 1 year, the leather look is flaking off. Definitely don't buy!

They charge you $14.95 for them to ship to you, but if you have to return something, all of a sudden their shipping back only costs $7.95! So they charge you DOUBLE for shipping when ordering and then a THIRD time if you return their items. Overpriced and greed at it's finest!
I ordered the mens ultra sculpt t-shirt and boxer briefs. I paid for overnight shipping because I needed them for a suit fitting. (wedding officiant). They never arrived as per the overnight charge I paid. Customer service will not respond at all. Was lied to about the shipment date. I demanded a refund on the shipping and was ignored. I will be returning the products as SOON as they arrive with a note in them telling them to go F*** themselves. Id rather go through the strain of wearing a Colombian Faja or have a male corset made then deal with this crap. Seriously never again.

My Spanx bra snap in front broke. I asked customer service for a replacement snap so I can fix it since the bra still has at least a year of use left.
After sending customer service a photo showing the broken snap I was told they don't have a replacement part and was given a 15% off coupon for another purchase. Why would I want to buy an expensive product from them when they were so unhelpful this time around.
They lost a customer today.
I ordered a pair of jeans from their website. I choose "Medium". I was charged and then received an email stating the website made an error and defaulted to XS. They told me there was no way they could change the order even though the item wasn't shipping for three days. INSTEAD, I need to send the XS jeans back to them, wait for a refund and then order new ones. They could have stopped the order since the mistake was caught prior to shipping but they chose not to. I like some of their clothes but can find same type/quality other retailers with better customer service. BYE Spanx you lost a customer that would have been with you for a lifetime!
